Shanghai Disneyland Tickets cover

Once you’ve decided that you want to go to Shanghai Disneyland, one of the first things you need to budget and plan for is the kind of tickets you’ll purchase for your trip. There are many different factors that can influence this, such as your length of stay, the time of year you’re going, and where you’re staying, among others. Hopefully this Shanghai Disneyland Tickets Guide can be your one stop shop for information regarding Shanghai Disneyland tickets.

If you’ve only started doing research now, you might think that the Shanghai Disneyland app and website are the only places you can buy tickets from. That is actually not the case, and there are a plethora of options available to you for purchasing tickets. There’s also a variety of ticket types, from early bird tickets to annual passes, that I will cover in this guide. The exchange rates I have used are the rates as of March 2026.

Hopefully by the end of this post, you have a clear understanding of your ticket options and can decide which one is best for you. So let’s get right to it!

1-Day / 2-Day Shanghai Disneyland Tickets

These are going to be your standard Shanghai Disneyland tickets. Shanghai Disneyland only sells up to 2-Day tickets. If you’re going to be in the park for longer than 2 days, you’re going to need to buy multiple of these tickets or get an annual pass. I personally would recommend buying the annual pass if you visit for more than 3 days, but I’ll get into that later on in this post.

The regular price of a 1-Day ticket starts at¥475 ($69.15) with the price increasing to as much as ¥799 ($116.71). On the other hand, buying a 2-day ticket comes with a 10% off discount on each day. Ticket prices for 2-day tickets start at ¥854 ($124.34) and go as high as ¥1186 ($172.65). 2-Day tickets must be used on consecutive days.

It should be noted that only the 1-Day ticket can be converted into an Annual Pass. 2-Day tickets, as of February 2026, cannot be converted into Annual Passes. Shanghai Disneyland also only sells 1-Day and 2-Day tickets through their website a month in advance. Anything more advanced than that will entail either waiting or buying from a third party.

It also should be noted that these are the ticket prices for the Adult, regular tickets. Shanghai Disneyland gives discounts on 1-Day and 2-Day tickets to Children aged 3-11, Seniors aged 60 and above, and guests with disabilities. Do note that you need a valid disability certificate to use the discount for guests with disabilities.

When you buy a 1-Day or 2-Day ticket, it should already come with park reservations. If you need to change the date of your visit, you must do so before midnight two days before your visit. If you were planning on visiting on February 4, you must change your dates by February 1 at 11:59pm or you’ll be locked into those dates.

A free refund can be processed if initiated before midnight 7 days prior to the visit date. For example, if you were planning on visiting on March 20, you must initiate the refund by 11:59pm on March 13. Between 6 days and 1 day before the visit date, an ¥80 will be charged to cancel the ticket. No cancellations can be made after 12am on the visit date.

As with all Shanghai Disneyland tickets, you will need to show your passport at the turnstiles to get into the park. Also, you can only buy a maximum of 5 tickets per order.

Premier Access is Shanghai Disneyland’s skip the line service that is available on most attractions. They usually sell these premier access packages in bundles where you can purchase premier access passes in quantities as little as 2 attractions and as many as 15 attractions. You can, however, also still buy them in single passes.

The first major deal is the 1-Day ticket with 1 purchased and 1 free Disney Premier Access Pass. The free Premier Access is for Zootopia: Hot Pursuit while the free one is for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The price of this ticket starts at ¥655 ($95.70) and increases depending on when you plan on going. This ticket cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred, but the date can be changed.

The second major deal is the Dream Day Package where, in addition to a 1-Day park ticket, you can also choose from a variety of Premier Access packages to bundle with your ticket. Unlike the previous offer, these packages can be refunded. The different attractions that your package comes with will vary depending on the package you purchase. For an up to date list visit the Shanghai Disneyland website. It should be noted that the Deluxe Set of 15 and the Deluxe Set of 12 come with Early Park Entry Passes as well.

Annual Passes

If you’re planning on visiting for 3 or more days, it may be worth your while to get an Annual Pass. Annual Passes at Shanghai Disneyland come in three different tiers. Each tier comes with its own set of blackout dates and perks. I’ll break down each tier below. Do note that you still need to make a park reservation to enter the park, even with an annual pass.

The Pearl annual pass, the lowest tiered pass, gets you 210 reservation days to visit the park. Take note that this means that the pass is blocked out on all weekends and some weekdays. It costs ¥1599 ($233.63) for Adults and ¥1119 ($163.49) for Children, Seniors, and guests with disabilities. Instead of a broad discount, Pearl annual passholders get 1 coupon for ¥100 ($14.61) off any table service meal worth¥500 ($73.05) every week and 5 coupons for ¥20 ($2.92) off any quick service meal worth ¥100 ($14.61) every week.

They also get 2 coupons worth 20% off at Shanghai Disneyland stores every week and 1 coupon worth ¥30 ($4.38) off any purchase of more than ¥200 ($29.22) every week. They also get benefits at DisneyTown. In additional, they get a birthday cake when they spend ¥1000 ($146.10) at table service restaurants or ¥280 ($40.91) at quick service restaurants on their birthday month. They also receive access to exclusive (Annual Pass) AP days and AP surprise coupons or restaurant privileges. They also get a discount on renewals and get an exclusive AP gift.

Shanghai Disneyland Tickets rapunzel

The Jade annual pass, the second tier, has 330 reservations. It is good to go for most weekends, with blockout dates only applying on heavy holiday periods like Chinese New Year. It costs ¥2849 ($416.26) for Adults and ¥2136 ($312.09) for Children, Seniors, and guests with disabilities. Jade annual passholders get 20% off dining across most restaurants in the park and hotels.

They also get 3 coupons worth 20% off at Shanghai Disneyland stores every week and 2 coupons worth ¥40 ($5.84) off any purchase of more than ¥200 ($29.22) every week. They also get benefits at shops and restaurants in DisneyTown. Additionally, they get a birthday cake when they spend ¥1000 ($146.10) at table service restaurants or ¥280 ($40.91) at quick service restaurants on their birthday month. They also get access to exclusive AP days and AP surprise coupons or restaurant privileges. They also get a discount on renewals and get an exclusive AP gift.

The Diamond annual pass is the highest tiered annual pass. It has no blackout dates. It costs ¥4699 ($686.56) for Adults and ¥3524 ($514.88) for Children, Seniors, and guests with disabilities. Diamond annual passholders get 20% off dining across most restaurants in the park and hotels. They get 10 coupons per month for 20% off parking at the Shanghai Disneyland parking lot and receive 12 Early Park Entry Passes per year. They’re also eligible for free strollers 4 times a year.

They also get 5 coupons worth 20% off at Shanghai Disneyland stores every week and 5 coupons worth ¥40 ($5.84) off any purchase of more than ¥200 ($29.22) every week. They also get benefits at shops and restaurants in DisneyTown. Additionally, they get a birthday cake when they spend ¥1000 ($146.10) at table service restaurants or ¥280 ($40.91) at quick service restaurants on their birthday month. They also get access to exclusive Diamond passholder exclusive events, AP days, and AP surprise coupons or restaurant privileges. They also get a discount on renewals, get a coupon book upon renewing, and get an exclusive AP gift.

You must activate your pass at the Shanghai Disneyland guest services booth at the main entrance before you can use it. Prior to activation, you can only book 1 park reservation. If you plan on using the pass for multiple consecutive days after your first reservation date, you may only make reservations for the other days of your trip once your pass is activated. This may seem risky as reservations might be gone for the other days of your trip if you’re planning on visiting on big holidays like Chinese New Year or Halloween, but in reality most days have reservations available the day prior, so you should be able to get reservations for the rest of your trip. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, you’re guaranteed access to the park even if reservations run out.

Klook Tickets

Shanghai Disneyland Tickets castle

You don’t have to book your tickets through the Shanghai Disneyland website. Many reputable third-party booking agencies exist where you can purchase your tickets, often with discounts or other perks. My personal favorite website is Klook.

They also have a lot of packages and tickets that are not available on the Shanghai Disneyland website. For example, they have a 1.5 day ticket where you can enter Shanghai Disneyland after 3pm on your first day and then enter anytime on your second day.

Shanghai Disneyland Tickets queen

They also have options if you need to book your tickets months in advance. They have 1 and 2 day tickets available as far as 6 months in advance, which if you recall the Shanghai Disneyland website only allows you to book 1 month in advance. You can buy tickets with Early Park Entry Passes and with Premier Access, as well as bundle parent and child tickets.

Even if you don’t want the packages, 1-day and 2-day tickets are usually cheaper on Klook by a couple of dollars. Cheaper is cheaper so I highly recommend pursuing Klook and finding an offer that’s right for you.

Recommendations for What Shanghai Disneyland Tickets to Buy

If you’re planning on staying for 1-2 days, I would recommend just getting regular tickets. Buy the Early Bird ones if you can as they will save you some money. If you’re only going for 1-day you have a lot of options for bundles like the bundle with Early Park Entry Passes or the bundle with Premier Access. Peruse all the options and find the one best for you.

If you’re deciding between visiting for 1 or 2 days, I would highly recommend 2 days for Shanghai Disneyland, especially if you don’t buy a Premier Access package. Having more time to explore the park will mean you’ll get to do more things and repeat your favorite rides, all at your own pace without feeling like you need to rush around and do everything.

Shanghai Disneyland Tickets rapids

That being said, visiting for 1-Day means you get to bundle your ticket with Premier Access or Early Park Entry Passes, as well as with some food coupons. But if you have the time to spare, definitely consider going for two or even more days and coupling your visit with a stay at one of the hotels.

If you do decide to go for 3 or more days, then definitely consider buying an Annual Pass. But this will depend on the blockout dates. For example, if you’re going on a Thursday to a Saturday, it may make more sense to buy a two day ticket and a one day ticket instead of an Annual Pass because you would have to get the Jade tier, which is a lot more expensive than the Pearl tier and you would only need it for a day.

I would do the math always just to see whether or not you need to actually buy an Annual Pass or if you need to buy regular tickets. I have a post about How Many Days to Spend at Shanghai Disneyland in case you are interested in figuring out how many days will work for you and your party.
