Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) has really stepped up its snack game. It has overhauled its longstanding snack menu in recent years and really upgraded the menu to include very unique items. I just came back from a trip to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort where I tried to eat as many of the snacks as I could. I then came up with this list, which includes 5 honorable mentions, in an effort to really find out which food items are worth your time and money.

Hong Kong Disneyland snacks may lack the breadth that parks like Epcot have, but I believe the park has a truly eclectic and diverse mix of options that should satisfy every foodie looking to have a unique Disney snacking experience. I personally tried every snack on this list and can guarantee you that each snack chosen was something I personally enjoyed.
I’ve ranked them based on 4 criteria: Presentation, Taste, Uniqueness, and My Personal Preference. Don’t take my word as gospel, as we’re all different people and have different tastes, but the following snacks, in my opinion, are the most worthy of being sampled among all Hong Kong Disneyland snacks. Let’s get started!

Klook.comHong Kong Disneyland Snacks Honorable Mentions
I have five honorable mentions when it comes to snacks at Hong Kong Disneyland. These snacks almost made the cut, and maybe on another day I would’ve included them in the list. But right now, they’re on the outside looking in.
Honorable Mention 1: Caramel Popcorn from Popcorn Carts

Current Price: HK$48 / US$6.18
Up first is what is probably the most purchased snack at Hong Kong Disneyland: caramel popcorn. You can purchase this at most snack carts around the park. Be sure to check the menu before ordering from a cart as some carts sell other seasonal flavors like Dark Chocolate popcorn or Caramel-Banana popcorn.
I personally love the taste of the caramel popcorn at Hong Kong Disneyland. It’s actually my mom’s favorite Hong Kong Disneyland snack. It’s very sweet, mind you, and very caramel-y (obviously) but if that’s your thing then you’re definitely going to love it. It’s also an opening day snack as caramel popcorn has been available at the park as the park’s main flavor of popcorn since the park’s opening in 2005. It’s simple, flavorful, and iconic, which is why it merits a spot on this list.
Klook.comHonorable Mention 2: Coronation Slush from Northern Delights, World of Frozen

Current Price: HK$95 / US$12.23
One of the two ice cream options you can have at Northern Delights at World of Frozen, the Coronation Slush consists of a light milk-flavored soft serve ice cream that is served on top of an elderflower-flavored slush. It’s the perfect treat to have during a hot day in Hong Kong Disneyland (as most days at Hong Kong Disneyland are). The soft serve is creamy and light while the slush is refreshing and sweet. Definitely a good option if you’ve got a bit more money to spare.
Klook.comHonorable Mention 3: Churros from NRG POD, Tomorrowland
Current Price: HK$40 / US$5.15
You can’t have a Hong Kong Disneyland snacks list and not include one of the most iconic Disneyland snacks of all time: the churro. Currently the only place you can get a standard churro at Hong Kong Disneyland is at the NRG POD, a small snack stand near the gift shop and exit of Hyperspace Mountain. As usual, the churros are cinnamon-y and good and, while not as good as Disneyland’s churros, are still pretty tasty. They’re not my favorite way to eat churros at HKDL, however, as another churro snack will appear later on in this list. But if you’re in the area and want to satisfy your churro craving, this is a good place to do so.
Klook.comHonorable Mention 4: Turkey Leg from Carts
Current Price: HK$160 / US$20.59
Another Disneyland snack that almost made the main cut is also probably one of its most controversial. Turkey Legs have been sold at Disney Parks for decades. While most people buy them for the experience of eating them rather than the taste, these salty, meat-y snacks have taken Disney Parks guests by storm. Love them or hate them, they’re a Disney Parks staple, and I highly recommend purchasing one if it’s your first time trying them. But don’t make the mistake of buying one turkey leg per person. They’re ginormous, and good to share.
Klook.comHonorable Mention 5: Premium Ice Cream Bars from Carts

Current Price: HK$45-60 / US$5.79-7.72
I didn’t specify which ice cream bar this section would represent but instead decided to group them all together. Whether you buy the Mickey Ice Cream Bar, the Stitch Paw Print Premium Bar, or the LinaBell Bar, each is guaranteed to be delicious, especially on a warm summer day. I must’ve eaten one Mickey Ice Cream Bar every single day I was at the park over the summer. It’s also, just like the caramel popcorn and the turkey leg, such an iconic snack that I would encourage you to eat at least one during your trip.
Klook.comTop 10 Hong Kong Disneyland Snacks
Now that we’re done with the Honorable Mentions, it’s time to count down the top 10 Hong Kong Disneyland snacks! It really was so hard to try and narrow down this list as HKDL really has so many good snacks. But I feel like this top 10 is representative of the best snacks HKDL has to offer. So without further ado, here they are!
10. South African Hot Dog from Karibuni Marketplace, Adventureland

Current Price: HK$75 / US$9.65
Found in Karibuni Marketplace, which is in between Professor Porter’s Trading Post and the Theater in the Wild in Adventureland, the South African Hot Dog is our first entry on this Hong Kong Disneyland snacks list. The hotdog itself is no ordinary hot dog because it has some spices in it. Topped with a delectable sauce, the South African Hot Dog is just one of the many good options in Adventureland if you’re hankering for a snack. While it’s not the highest ranked hotdog on this list, it is good enough to merit an inclusion in the Top 10.
Klook.com9. Popcorn Chicken Nachos from Lucky Nugget Saloon, Grizzly Gulch

Current Price: HK$95 / US$12.23
This next snack is a good mix of crispy nachos, flavorful chicken, and gooey cheese. Found in the Lucky Nugget Saloon in Grizzly Gulch, this is the best savory snack at this location. Keyword being savory, as I include other snacks from this location later on in this list. But this is a good option if you’re in between meals and need a pick-me-up. The way the chicken, nachos, cheese, and peppers interact to give you that burst of flavor is incredibly satisfying. Definitely try it if you’re in the area.
Klook.com8. Slinky Pizza from Jessie’s Snack Roundup, Toy Story Land

Current Price: HK$75 / US$9.65
This is the other hot dog on this list. I know, confusing right? I was confused at first when I heard about this snack because it didn’t really match its name. It’s billed as a pizza but is in fact a hot dog. But this snack is basically a pizza in the form of a hot dog. The bread is similar to pizza dough and it’s topped with a tomato sauce to make it similar to a pizza. It’s gimmicky, but it’s a gimmick that works and makes it very unique.
Klook.com7. Mickey Waffles from Main Street Market, Main Street USA
Current Price: HK$70 / US$9.01
A Disney classic, the Mickey Waffles that you can find along Main Street USA are as good as they get. They’re served with jams and fruit and are made fresh and hot. They’re fluffy, light, and absolutely delicious and are the perfect way to start your day at the park. There’s a little seating area behind the Main Street Market where you can eat your waffles as well. The line for this snack can get long so be sure to get one early if you really want to try one. Mickey Waffles are also served at the resort hotels buffet breakfasts.
Klook.com6. Churro Bites with Chocolate Sauce from Lucky Nugget Saloon, Grizzly Gulch

Current Price: HK$80 / US$10.30
This is the other churro option on this list that I mentioned earlier. Lucky Nugget Saloon has another entry on this list with their really delicious churro bites. The winner here is the mixture of the cinnamon churros with the richness of the chocolate dipping sauce. The combination of both makes it the superior churro snack of Hong Kong Disneyland. It’s a bit on the pricier side for churros, but I think it’s well worth the cost.
Klook.com5. Olaf Ice Cream from Northern Delights, World of Frozen

Current Price: HK$70 / US$9.01
This is probably the Hong Kong Disneyland snack with the cutest presentation: it’s an ice cream that looks exactly like Olaf. Featuring milk-flavored soft serve, a gummy Olaf head, and chocolate arms and buttons, this is a creamy, cold, and delectable delight. Just be forewarned that the ice cream, just like Olaf, melts incredibly fast. So you’re going to want to eat it as fast as you can.
Klook.com4. Chip n Dale Mousse Cake from Lucky Nugget Saloon, Grizzly Gulch

Current Price: HK$68 / US8.75
This is another snack with incredible presentation. The Chip n Dale Mousse Cake from the Lucky Nugget Saloon features a 3 dimensional Chip n Dale cake that is made of either chocolate or caramel mousse, with Chip being chocolate and Dale being caramel. This gets major points just for its 3D presentation, which is usually hard to come by in theme park food.
Klook.com3. Stop n’ Go Sundae Cone from Jessie’s Snack Roundup, Toy Story Land
Current Price: HK$48 / US$6.18
Of course, I had to include a spot for one of my favorite snacks of all time: Dole Whip! Yup, just like at the US Disney Parks, you can grab a dole whip in Hong Kong Disneyland. You’ll find it at Toy Story Land and you can get it in a cute little cowboy-themed cone. If you’ve never had Dole Whip, it’s essentially a sour, pineapple-flavored soft serve that is fruity, fresh, and delicious. It’s popular even outside the Disney Parks, so if you’ve never had it before, this is the perfect time to have your first helping.
Klook.com2. Lotso Waffle Sandwich from Jessie’s Snack Roundup, Toy Story Land

Current Price: HK$70 / US$9.01
Filled with beef, cheese, and strawberry jam and coated in a Lotso-themed waffle bun, this sandwich was the biggest surprise among all the snacks I had at Hong Kong Disneyland. It’s the perfect mixture of sweet and savory, and is also incredibly filling for its price. I had it for dinner on my first night there when all the restaurants were fully occupied and it was able to keep me going for the rest of the night. It’s really good and I cannot recommend it enough.
Klook.com1. Korean Squid from Adventureland Cart and Karibuni Marketplace, Adventureland

Current Price: HK$60 / US$7.72
Of course, the number one slot had to go to the most unique among all the Hong Kong Disneyland snacks: the Adventureland Korean Squid! Simply put, this snack is a grilled piece of Korean squid that you pull apart and eat. You would expect squid to be chewy but this is easy to chew and has that smokey grilled flavor. It tastes incredibly fishy, so if that’s not your thing this snack might not be for you, but it had to be number one regardless as it’s an exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland snack (as far as I know). I’m not its biggest fan, but I do appreciate how unique it is. If you only have time for one snack, let this be the one.
