Dufffy and Friends Play Days Returns to Hong Kong Disneyland March 20, 2026

Hong Kong Disneyland has just announced the return of Duffy and Friends Play Days to the park. The popular seasonal event will run from March 20, 2026 to June 7, 2026. As part of the celebration, the park will introduce themed offerings across the park and hotels, including entertainment, food, and merchandise. Let’s take a look at what’s coming to Hong Kong Disneyland during Duffy and Friends Play Days 2026!

New Costumes and Decor

As part of Duffy and Friends Play Days 2026, new decor will adorn parts of the park to celebrate the seasonal event. Duffy and Friends will also meet in new sailor costumes in their playhouse located at the left end of Main Street! If you’d like to meet them, I highly recommend rope dropping their playhouse as lines can get long and will be long throughout the duration of this celebration.

More Photo Spots

With current photo spots set up at the Castle of Magical Dreams, Adventureland, Grizzly Gulch, and Mystic Point, Hong Kong Disneyland has confirmed that 3 additional photo spots will be available when the celebration returns in March. Hong Kong Disneyland has yet to confirm where these photo spots will be located, but I imagine they might be in either Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, World of Frozen, or Toy Story Land.

Updates to Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle

According to reports, as part of the celebration, Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle, the anniversary-only castle stage show, will feature all 7 Duffy and Friends characters in new costumes for the performance. I have yet to confirm if this means that all 7 characters will be part of every show, or if they will keep the 4 Duffy characters picked at random for each show. But regardless, we will be seeing these characters in new costumes in the show.

Return of StellaLou’s Wonderful Wishes Ballet

Back by popular demand, StellaLou’s Wonderful Wishes Ballet will return to the Storybook Theater for a limited time. Performances of the show will begin on April 30, 2026 and will continue until May 31, 2026. This means that this show will only run for 1 month of Duffy and Friends Play Days. I wasn’t sure they were going to bring this back as it wasn’t part of Duffy and Friends Play Days last year, but I’m glad they decided to bring it back, even if it’s only for a limited time.

New Merchandise and Food

Brand new merchandise and food offerings specific to the Play Days will debut on March 20. These include sweets and other food items themed and styled to Duffy and Friends. The merchandise will also follow the sailor theme that this year’s Duffy and Friends event seems to revolve around.

Hotel Offerings

New in-room surprises will be available as part of Duffy and Friends Play Days 2026. This includes the “Mickey and Duffy’s Voyage In-room theme surprise” which will include decorations, merchandise, and more themed to Duffy and Friends.

Additionally, every Tuesday night at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Kingdom Club level, a Duffy and Friends character will be available to meet in their pajamas.

Regular Offerings

As always, don’t miss Duffy and Friends in the Friendtastic parade, which features Duffy and Friends in their first-ever float, along with their appearance in the nighttime spectacular Momentous: Party in the Night Sky!

Duffy and Friends Play Days 2026 Special Ticket Offers

As part of the celebration, there will be a special ticket and hotel accommodation offer. Any guest who purchases park tickets through their MyDisneyHK account will receive a special Duffy and Friends puzzle, which will not be available for sale.
