The Disneyland Resort has a lot of options for you if you want to snack. Part of the fun of a Disneyland day is getting to try all the different unique treats scattered around the park. But with so many options, it can be quite overwhelming to try and figure out which of these treats are actually worth the price. Well, this post can help with that! Hopefully by the end of this post you know which Disney California Adventure Snacks you want to try when you’re at the park.

I will admit though that DCA has a lot less snacks than Disneyland does. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a smaller park, but unlike my Disneyland Snacks article where I was struggling to compress it into a top 20, I was able to come up with around 13 snacks for DCA, including 3 honorable mentions. However, just because DCA has less snacks, that doesn’t mean they aren’t as good. If I were to make a top 10 snacks list for the entire resort, a lot of DCA snacks would be included.
These snacks were ranked based on these 4 criteria: Taste, Presentation, Uniqueness, and Personal Preference. As I always say, take these rankings with a grain of salt (figuratively, of course). What’s good and delicious to me might not be the same for you. Just something to keep in mind as we go through the list. Also, don’t feel like you need to try everything on this list. It’s perfectly fine to pick and choose which ones you want to try.
Without further ado, let’s begin!

Top 10 Disney California Adventure Snacks – Honorable Mentions
We’ve got a few honorable mentions to talk about before we get into the meat of the list. These three snacks just barely made the cut, but I think it’s still worthwhile to mention them.

Honorable Mentions: Bacon Street Dog from Award Wieners, Hollywoodland
Current Price: US$11.79
This snack is a solid option if you want something filling but are not in the mood for a full meal. The Bacon Street Dog is a savory, incredibly flavorful treat. Do note, however, that it comes with peppers, but don’t worry as you can ask for it without peppers. Honestly, any option from Award Wieners is a hit in my book, but if you can only have one item then this is the one I would highly recommend.
Honorable Mentions: San Fransokyo-style Street Corn from Cocina Cucamonga, San Fransokyo Square
Current Price: US$8.99
I know what you’re thinking, this is a corn on the cob, how could it possibly be good? Well, this isn’t your normal corn on the cob. It’s a fusion Mexican-Japanese snack that consists of corn topped with Togarashi Mayonnaise, Furikake, Bonito Flakes, and Queso Fresco, and is served with Spiced Wheat Chicharrones. This sweet treat also comes warm, adding to the flavor and texture. There’s a little bit of a kick, but not so much that it becomes overwhelming. Definitely a mention-worthy Disney California Adventure Snack.
Klook.comHonorable Mentions: It’s Lemon from Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, Pixar Pier
Current Price: US$6.79
This is here for one reason and one reason only: it’s essentially Dole Whip. Sure, it’s under a different name, but this Disney California Adventure snack is unmistakably Dole Whip. So if you like Dole Whip, you’re going to love this. As Dole Whip is more iconic at Disneyland, I didn’t include it that high on this list. It’s worth mentioning that you can also get other flavors like Mango and Raspberry here, and they even offer a Parfait and a Flight!
Klook.comTop 10 Disney California Adventure Snacks
Now that we’re done going over the honorable mentions, next we’re going to go over the main list! This list, in my opinion, shows off the large range of snacks that Disney California Adventure has. From hidden gems to popular treats, I guarantee that there will be a snack in here that you will enjoy.
10. Quantum Pretzel from Pym Test Kitchen, Avengers Campus
Current Price: $14.49
Coming in at number 10 is a snack that is larger than life (literally). The Quantum Pretzel at Pym Test Kitchen is a super-sized pretzel that comes in at a whopping 453.8 grams. Safe to say you’re going to want to share this with your party. It also comes with a Sharp Cheddar Cheese-Beer sauce that blends incredibly well with the pretzel. You cannot have a DCA snacks list and not mention this iconic pretzel.
9. New York’s Tastiest Shawarma from Shawarma Palace, Avengers Campus
Current Price: $14.49
Inspired by the iconic end credits scene from the first Avengers movie, the New York’s Tastiest Shawarma is a greasy, flavorful delight. If you’ve had shawarma before, I would say that this is a solid option compared to shawarmas you can get outside the park. They used to sell them by the Hyperion Theater as well, but they have since stopped selling it over there, meaning the only place to get them is at Shawarma Palace. If you want a good Disney California Adventure snack option that’s a little filling, definitely consider this.
Klook.com8. Corn Dog from Corn Dog Castle, Paradise Gardens Park

Current Price: $11.29
Similar to the corn dogs you can find at Disneyland, the Corn Dog Castle corn dogs are an amazing treat at DCA. They even have a spicy version and every order comes with either mandarin orange cuties or a bag of chips. Corn Dog Castle is kind of hidden at the back of the park, sandwiched in between The Little Mermaid and Goofy’s Sky School, but it is worth the trek!
7. Potato Bites from Pym Test Kitchen, Avengers Campus

Current Price: $4.79
If you want a quick, cheap bite, definitely go for the tater tots at Pym Test Kitchen. Called Potato Bites, these tater tots are topped with garlic and taste absolutely delicious. They don’t come in large servings though, so be sure to get a few orders if you want them to be a little filling. They’re also an option as a side to your main Pym Test Kitchen meal.
Klook.com6. Soft Serve from Cozy Cone Motel 2, Cars Land
Current Price: $6.29
There’s nothing like a soft serve on a hot day, and luckily Cars Land has an amazing soft serve option in their Cozy Cone restaurant. Located in the Ice Cream Cones cone, the soft serve comes in either chocolate or vanilla flavors. You can also get them in a swirl if you want. From what I remember they only sell them in cups now, but a cone option could come back in the future! If you’re craving a sweet DCA treat, definitely consider this snack.
5. Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num from Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums, Pixar Pier

Current Price: $8.75
The Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num cart is located next to the Incredicoaster, and this is probably the second best cookie at the entire resort after the chocolate chip cookies you can buy at Harbor Galley at Disneyland. It’s a bit on the harder side, but the chocolate is so gooey and sweet. They also have a gluten free option, which the Harbor Galley cookies don’t have. All in all this is a gem among the Disney California Adventure snacks.
Klook.com4. Cosmic Cream Orb from Terran Treats, Avengers Campus

Current Price: $7.25
This is probably the most unique treat at DCA. Located at Terran Treats outside the exit of Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT, the Cosmic Cream Orb is a unique dessert consisting of whipped raspberry cheesecake topped with a chocolate craquelin. It’s incredibly tasty and is a perfect sweet dessert pick-me-up if you’re feeling peckish during your DCA day. I always make it a point to have one every few trips to DCA, and you should too!
3. Churro from Various Carts

Current Price: $5.75
A Disneyland classic, and it would have been ranked number 1 on this list but I decided to give the other snacks on this list a chance. Churros at the Disneyland Resort are incredible. They’re cinnamon-dusted and taste like heaven. I especially love the specialty churros the resort frequently sells, with the best of them all being found at DCA: the fluffernutter! It’s a churro topped with marshmallow and peanut butter sauce and sprinkled with chocolate chips. Perfection.
Klook.com2. Garlic Cream Cheese Bread from Paradise Gardens Snack Cart, Paradise Gardens Park
Current Price: $9.25
This snack I believe was added as part of the Food and Wine festival and was just kept around permanently. You can find it at the Paradise Gardens Snack Cart near Goofy’s Sky School. It’s bread dusted with garlic and filled with cream cheese. It’s good but is probably a hair behind the cheesy garlic pretzel bread from Disneyland. It’s still incredible, though, and should be on every DCA visitor’s must try list.
1. Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese from Cozy Cone Motel 3, Cars Land

Current Price: $9.25
My undisputed number 1 Disney California Adventure snack is a pretty unique one too. Found in Cars Land at the cozy cone, this snack consists of mac and cheese topped with bacon bits and served in a bread cone. The mac and cheese is very creamy, and the bacon adds a burst of flavor to the snack. The bread can feel a little hard, but that doesn’t take away from the mac and cheese. It’s very tasty, and is in my opinion the single best snack item not just in Cars Land but in Disney California Adventure.
